Earlier this spring, Masonic Village at Elizabethtown broke ground on a new 72-cottage neighborhood. These homes will overlook beautiful Lancaster County farmland and offer a variety of living options, as well as the maintenance-free lifestyle enjoyed by all Masonic Village residents. The cottages will range from 1,944 square feet up to 2,300 square feet and will feature options based on individual design styles and preferences.

We’re not the only ones excited about these new homes:

Our friends Ken and Janet Burd spoke very highly of their “new lives” in Masonic Village. We visited with them on several occasions and have been quite impressed with not only the physical layout of the cottages and campus, but the cordiality of the staff.
We wanted the feel and space of a home and not an apartment. Having the cottage being built, versus already established, gives us the opportunity to personalize it for our needs/tastes. We are looking forward to a sundeck and a finished basement.  Plus, we will also be moving into more space than we presently have in Philadelphia.  The location on the campus affords a lovely view and is close to other facilities. How nice not to have to worry about home maintenance or lawn care!

We have been waiting to get to the village since 2014. Choosing to build a new cottage is enabling us to move to Elizabethtown sooner than waiting to be selected for an existing cottage. We are excited to be able to enjoy all that the village has to offer and can’t wait to move in. We are looking forward to meeting our new neighbors and being able to call the Masonic Village our new home.
