I grew up in the Wyoming Valley. My whole life is here. Yet, when I was fresh faced out of culinary school, I went to Pennsylvania College of Technology, and I started working in the Back Mountain area.
Beginning June 15th, 2016, the Pastoral Care Department at the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown will become the Spiritual Care Department due to the campus' growing population and changing roles.
With the cold weather behind us and spring in full bloom with nice warm weather, we can officially welcome the start of the planting season.
The Masonic Village at Elizabethtown has the unique benefit of featuring a working farm and orchard among its many campus amenities. Because of this it also boasts fresh, local menu ingredients, including beef.
In 1920, Robert Burns Lodge No. 464, Harrisburg, funded the planting of 268 oak trees on the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown campus, for the Masons who died serving our country during World War I.
